Setting Unusual Stones, Tuesdays, 8/8-8/15, 6-9pm (2 weekly sessions)

About the Class
Do you have stones that can’t be set using a standard bezel and don’t know how to set them? This class will show you the way. We will look at alternate ways of setting unusual stones such as crystals, raw stones, and odd shaped cabochons. The first meeting we will discuss the stones you provide and possible setting solutions, including prongs and combination settings. We will begin our pieces and finish the second night.
TUITION: $125
MATERIALS KIT: Bring your own stones. Instructor can supply stones for a fee. Metal cost varies with project selected.
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
Cancellations, Refunds, Missed Classes, and Pro-Rating
- Cancellation by Salt City Smithery: If a class must be cancelled by Salt City Smithery, all registered students will be notified and a full refund will be issued to students.
- Cancellation by Student: Salt City Smithery weekly/daily classes: If you are unable to attend a class that you have already paid for, please notify Salt City Smithery at least 72 HOURS prior to the start date of the class. Once notification is given in a timely manner, a full refund, minus $15 cancellation fee, will be given. Refunds will not be given for cancellations when notification is given less than 72 hours prior to start date of class.
Waiver of Liability
Attendees are required to sign a waiver of liability at least once before registering for an open studio.
