Open Studio Access: Silversmithing & Enameling

Practice Your Skills. Explore New Ideas. Use Professional Tools.

Open Studio sessions are for students and makers who want dedicated time to work independently in a fully equipped space. Whether you’re finishing a class project, refining a technique, or exploring your own designs, our open studio access gives you the freedom and flexibility to create at your own pace.

Who It’s For

Open Studio access is designed for students who have taken at least one class with us or can demonstrate a basic level of proficiency. It’s also ideal for independent makers who need studio time and for artists who want access to tools they may not have at home. Please note that Open Studio is not instructional—staff are present to oversee safety and grant access, but do not provide extensive guidance or teaching during these sessions. If you’re new to silversmithing or enameling, we encourage you to start with one of our classes before attending Open Studio.

Scheduling & Rates

Open Studio sessions are offered in 3-hour blocks and must be reserved through our online system. For those who plan to use the studio regularly, we offer convenient bench rental subscription options to make access more flexible and affordable.

Policies

Before attending your first session, all participants must sign a studio waiver and safety agreement. Open Studio users are expected to work independently, follow all safety protocols, and clean up their workspace when finished. For safety and liability reasons, guests and unattended minors are not permitted in the studio. While you’re welcome to bring your own tools and materials, please note that we do not provide storage for non-members. Read Full Studio Policies.
