For students ready to take the next steps after Metalsmithing I and II. Embark on a journey catered to students aspiring to further their skills in metalsmithing for jewelry. We will refine skills learned in previous classes as well as explore advanced techniques such as hollow forms and multiple stone settings. Students will have the opportunity to bring unfinished projects to evaluate and determine best ways to complete them, as well as to create new designs and plan out the steps to achieve them. We will also discuss how and where to order materials.
Crafted for students with intermediate to advanced skills, this course adopts a hybrid approach. It allows students a level of independence to customize their focus, seamlessly blending structured components like pre-planned projects and advanced techniques. The primary goal is to provide participants with the mentorship of a seasoned professional, nurturing their expertise in advanced processes and jewelry methodology. The course aims to facilitate a polished refinement of their skills, ultimately leading to the creation of outstanding jewelry and metalwork.
