About the Class
Students will learn the traditional method of sand casting to quickly replicate shapes in metal. We will cast using ring molds but other molds will be discussed. We will practice casting stones in place and students who know how to bezel set stones may bring small stones to add to their rings if desired. (bezel setting will not be demonstrated in this class)
TUITION: $175.00
MATERIALS KIT: Students may bring their own scrap silver, or casting grain, or purchase from the studio

Cancellations, Refunds, Missed Classes, and Pro-Rating
- Cancellation by Salt City Smithery: If a class must be cancelled by Salt City Smithery, all registered students will be notified and a full refund will be issued to students.
- Cancellation by Student: Salt City Smithery weekly/daily classes: If you are unable to attend a class that you have already paid for, please notify Salt City Smithery at least 72 HOURS prior to the start date of the class. Once notification is given in a timely manner, a full refund, minus $15 cancellation fee, will be given. Refunds will not be given for cancellations when notification is given less than 72 hours prior to start date of class.
Waiver of Liability
Attendees are required to sign a waiver of liability at least once before registering for an open studio.
