Intro to Wetpacking and Cloisonne: Enamels 102 with Marianne Goodell
Saturday and Sunday, August 26 & 27, 9am – 3:30pm. Note – there will be a half hour break for lunch.
Learn how to wet pack enamels and the basics of cloisonne enamels in this Introduction to Wetpacking and Cloisonne Course. The student will learn how to wash and clean transparent enamels, use the wetpacking technique to blend and position the colors, how to place and fire wire for cloisonne, and how to fire in a kiln. We will explore silver reactive colors while working over silver foil. For advanced beginners.
Prerequesite: sifting enamels to create a blank.
