In this immersive class, you’ll embark on a creative journey through the art of cutting and shaping metal and setting a cabochon stone. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this class is designed to spark your curiosity and hone your skills.
You will learn the skills of sawing, soldering, texturing and finishing. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, you’ll learn how to transform raw metal into stunning, wearable pieces of art.
Throughout the class, you’ll not only gain hands-on experience with various tools but also develop an understanding of the properties and possibilities of different metals and design.
So, roll up your sleeves and let the creative sparks fly as you delve into the ancient and ever-evolving craft of metalsmithing. By the end of this session, you’ll not only have a tangible creation to take home but also a newfound appreciation for the artistry and skill involved in working with metal.

MATERIALS KIT: Materials cost varies and depends on projects made, and is payable in class. Students can expect to pay between $20-60 on materials, depending on projects. Silver will be weighed and priced at current spot price.
