Have you ever wondered what comes next after Lifelong Learning’s Metalsmithing 1 and 2 classes? This is your chance to find out and apply the skills you have learned towards becoming a jeweler. We will explore advanced techniques including pick soldering, pronged settings for faceted tones, stone-on-stone settings and much more. In addition, you will have can opportunity to practice skills you have learned in previous classes and work on projects you choose for yourself. We will talk about the design process, keeping a sketchbook and keeping track of costs for resale. We will explore applying for shows, jury photography and selling your jewelry. The class will allow the student to select the techniques they want to learn and advance their skills to the next level. Class will meet on Monday evenings from 6-9pm for 5 weeks. Instructor is Jan Harris Smith.

SKILL LEVEL: Confident beginner. Must have soldering skills
