Got a pile of silver scraps, sweeps, or old jewelry collecting dust in your studio? Learn how to transform your metal leftovers into fresh, workable sheet and wire in this hands-on class. We’ll cover everything from sorting and preparing your scrap to melting, pouring ingots, rolling, and drawing your own wire.

You’ll gain confidence in reclaiming your materials, saving money, and reducing waste—all while deepening your understanding of metal behavior. By the end of class, you’ll leave with newly recycled silver ready for your next project and the know-how to keep your practice more sustainable.

TOOLS FEE: $25, Payable in class.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to intermediate metalsmiths comfortable with a torch.
