$265.00
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Are you ready for a workshop that will put all your metalsmithing skills to the test? Then look no further, let’s make a leaf bug! In this course we will be putting our sawing skills to work by cutting out multiple complex shapes.
We will be learning and using some chasing techniques to give our bug shape and texture. This will enhance the look of our project and give it depth and interest.
We will cover more complex soldering, balancing our heat and using the different temperatures of solder to assemble our bug successfully.
And finally we will cover finishing and creating a green patina to bring our pieces to life. Then you can have your very own handmade leaf insect to display in your home!
So if you think you are ready to push your skills, come take this in depth workshop and learn skills that can be used across all your future pieces.
