Jewelry Make and Take: Copper Trinket Tray
Course Description: Craft a unique hand-textured copper trinket dish while learning basic metalworking techniques. You’ll choose from a variety of shaped pancake and silhouette dies to use on the hydraulic press, texture the copper using hammers, shape it into a shallow dish, and finish it with a beautiful patina. You’ll walk away with a unique and lasting art piece you can enjoy for years to come. This class is perfect for beginners, everyone is welcome!
Course Note: Class meets at Salt City Smithery (3450 S Main St, Unit 44W, South Salt Lake).
Special fee is for tool rental and some supplies; students will purchase more supplies in class.
