Ghoulish Cloisonne, Sat & Sun, Oct 3 & 4

Start at the beginning and learn the fundamentals of cloisonne enameling. In this class, you’ll create an enamel blank on copper and select a design to use as a pattern for cutting, shaping, and placing cloisonne wires. Once the wires are in place, you’ll learn how to fill the resulting cells with enamel and build up the surface with color.

To finish, we’ll grind away any excess enamel to create a smooth, even surface. Add a jump rind, and your finished enamel will be ready to wear on a chain or piece of leather.

All artistic levels and abilities are welcome – no experience necessary. Please bring a face mask.
