Unleash your inner chain-making wizard and create a bracelet with serious presence! Inspired by a design from Matthieu Cheminee’s Chainmaking for Jewelers, this handcrafted Dragon Tail chain is built one link at a time using two different wire gauges, precision fitting, and meticulous soldering.

The result? A substantial, fluid bracelet that looks as though it was forged from the tail of a mythical beast. Equal parts technical challenge and wearable treasure, this class is perfect for makers who love repetitive processes, satisfying precision, and jewelry with a little bit of attitude.

MATERIALS KIT: depends on bracelet length. Students should expect to spend between $65 – $120 for all silver. This bracelet can also be made in copper or brass, or mixed metals to make it more affordable.

TOOLS REQUIRED: Flat nose parallel pliers, round nose pliers, modified bench pin for cutting links, 9mm dowel, 3.5mm dowel (optional)

SKILL LEVEL: Confident soldering skills required
