Argentium Basics and the Beauty of Fusing!

This class teaches students all the unique and superior properties of Argentium sterling silver; how to fuse, solder, harden and create a long-lasting tarnish-resistant finish. Students will saw earring and/or pendant shapes from sheet, form wire, and make granules to fuse a decorative pattern onto their projects. Students will also learn to fuse seams of heavy gauge wire ring bands. This class is all about feeling comfortable fusing and understanding the magic of Argentium sterling silver. Students will make a pair of earrings and a ring. Students will have enough material to do a third project of their choice if time allows. All projects allow students to be creative with their design choices.

MATERIALS KIT: Students will spend $120 for materials (subject to change with price fluctuations), payable in class.

Cancellation by Salt City Smithery:

If a class must be cancelled by Salt City Smithery, all registered students will be notified and a full refund will be issued to students.

Cancellation by Student:

Salt City Smithery weekly/daily classes: If you are unable to attend a class that you have already paid for, please notify Salt City Smithery at least 72 HOURS prior to the start date of the class. Once notification is given in a timely manner, a full refund, minus $15 cancellation fee, will be given. Refunds will not be given for cancellations when notification is given less than 72 hours prior to start date of class.
